ニンフ ボディ 6.4〜9.9ｍｍ テール １３ｍｍ ダン ボディ 7〜9.3ｍｍ テール １３ｍｍ ニュージーランド全域に分布。３月から４月にかけて、よく羽化する。写真は、３月４日、トンガリロ川で採集したもの。ダンは翌日に羽化した。羽化の仕方は水面羽化。 非常によく似たDeleatidium myzobranchiaとの違いは、ニンフ段階では、第一鰓の血管が片側にしかないこと、またダンでは、ウイングの端の色が多少違うという程度。釣り人から見れば、羽化の時期が違うとはいえ、どちらも同じサイズ、同じ羽化の仕方をするから、同一と見なしても全く問題はない。 |

Nymph 6.4-9.9mm Dun 7-9.3mm widely spread over New Zealand. The photographed is collected at the Tongariro river on 4th March. It hatches mostly in March and April. It hatches at the surface of the water. The difference from a very similar species, Deleatidium myzobranchia, is, in nymphal stage, its first gill has vein on only one side and the edge of the wings of dun slightly differ from its of myzobranchia. Eventhough it has a different calenar for hatch, for fly fishermen, as both are in same size and hatch in same manner, they can be treated as one species. |
