2月上旬のンガルロロ川上流部で遭遇。 風が多少あったせいか、川原のあちらこちらでこのクモの抜け殻が転がっているのが目に付いた。 もちろん中身の入ったクモも何度か見かけたけれど、写真を撮る前に石の下に入られてしまった。 たとえ抜け殻だけとはいえ、鱒にとってはいい餌になるだろう。その上もし中身が入っていたとしたら、またとない最高のご馳走に違いない。ヘリで入るような上流部の川で、チェルノブリ・アントがなぜ効果抜群なのか、分かったような気がした。 |

I found this skin of spider at the back-country trip to the Ngaruro river in the early February. There were quite good number of skin at the river side. Even it is only a skin, it must be a good food for trout. Imagine if it is not just a skin but comes with juicy contents. No wonder why a Chernobyl ant works so well in the back-country rivers. |
