タニシ。オタマンガカウ湖の大きな鱒は、これを食べて太るようだ。釣った鱒を触ると、腹部がギシギシと鳴ることがある。腹足を上にして、水面直下に浮かんでいるタニシをよく見かける。こうやって風に流され、移動するのではないかと思う。 時折、ハッチも何もないのにほんわりとしたライズを見かけることがあるけれど、ひょっとしたら、水面下にこうして浮いているタニシを食べているのではないだろうか。 |

Trout in Lake Otamangakau might get fat by feeding on this. Sometimes a stomac of trout are full of the snail. I observed snails floating upside down and hanging from water surface. In this way, they might spread themselves. I suspect trout can not regist the temptation of delicious grand dinner hanging down from the ceiling. |
