ニンフ ボディ １４ｍｍ テイル ６ｍ ダン ボディ １４ｍｍ テイル １７ｍｍ 北島を中心に分布。南に行くに従って減ってゆき、南島にいるという確かな記録はない。ニンフは赤茶からオレンジ系の色で、お腹がふっくらと膨れているのですぐに見分けがつく。流れの早いところより岸際の緩やかな場所に多く、小砂利と砂地が混ざる様な箇所を好む。 ハッチが始まるのは、１１月くらいから。ハッチの仕方は、水面羽化。ダンもやはり赤茶、オレンジ系の色をしていて、また羽根のエッジが黄色なので、容易に見分けがつく。 |

It inhabits at the edge of fast moving water. It starts hatching at November and hatches at the surface. Dun has an orange body and yellow trimed wings. |
